Kawasaki introduces a superbike using a supercharged hydrogen engine

By using hydrogen as fuel, the new motorbike is expected to make an important contribution to the strategy of "greening" transportation.

According to the plan, by 2035 Kawasaki will introduce 10 electric motorbike models and 1 hybrid motorbike model to the market, and the appearance of the 2024 Kawasaki Ninja e-1 and 2024 Kawasaki Z e-1 is the beginning. Not only that, in the group's new press conference about the vision group to 2030, Kawasaki also introduced a hydrogen-powered motorcycle model called Ninja H2 HySE.

Expected to officially launch in 2030, the Ninja H2 HySE model actually appeared previously at EIMCA. However, with the most recent appearance, the car has become a detailed simulation of design and engine. According to the product development process, this is the step that shows the product is ready for testing.

According to the pictures shared by Kawasaki, the Ninja H2 HySE has a rather bulky appearance with a sport-touring design style. It is known that the car will use the same supercharged engine block as the H2 SX, but the total cylinders used will be 6 and use hydrogen gas as fuel to ensure zero greenhouse gas emissions.

The two tanks at the rear of the car are where the hydrogen fuel tank will be stored to power the car. However, the leg arrangement seems to be kept the same as the H2 SX. In front of the TFT clock cluster remains the same but is supplemented with a larger black-white digital panel perhaps to display parameters related to hydrogen fuel.

With the speed of technology development, we can completely believe that Kawasaki's hydrogen engine motorbike will soon roll on the road.

The new version is supplemented with many sporty details, suitable for the needs of traveling on the street.

After much speculation, recently Kawasaki in India officially launched the new 2024 version of the small W175 motorcycle model, including the appearance of a completely new variant - W175 Street.

Kawasaki W175 Street 2024 has 2 color options: "Emerald Green" and "Metallic Moondust Gray", these are also the two most expensive versions and have a selling price of 135,00 rupees - about 39.2 million VND when converted into Vietnamese currency according to However, it should be noted that car prices in India are always very cheap compared to the world average.

In addition to adding new colors, the W175 Street 2024 is also equipped with a new set of black-painted cast rims instead of the typical spoke rims of this retro motorcycle model. However, the tubeless tires used on the car still retain the sizes 80/100-17 and 100-90-17 for the front and rear respectively.

Compared to the standard version, the W175 Street 2024 also has a lower saddle at 786.5mm (instead of 790mm). In addition, the use of cast rims also increases the vehicle's weight to 135kg but is still suitable for the physical condition of most users. In addition, the W175 Street is also equipped with 245mm diameter front disc brakes instead of 270mm like the standard version.

Except for the above changes, the 2024 Kawasaki W175 Street is no different from the standard version in terms of equipment. The car still retains the classic round headlight cluster with a full LCD instrument cluster. The front forks are telescopic and the rear are double springs that can be adjusted to different levels. In addition, the rear brake remains the same as a drum brake to ensure safety when operating.

Emerald Green color version.

In terms of power, the Kawasaki W175 Street 2024 uses a 177cc single cylinder engine and is air-cooled. This engine block produces a maximum capacity of 13 horsepower and maximum torque of 13.3 Nm.
